May 2, 2023 (Las Vegas, NV) – SP Motorsports driver Sara Price brought home the win after a stellar five-day performance at the Sonora Rally in Mexico. The victory earned her an entry spot into the Dakar Rally in the SSV class - a long time goal for Price. “The Sonora Rally was one for the books and I am honestly still on Cloud nine. Getting to Dakar has been a dream of mine since 2015 and this year I decided to put 100% of my focus towards it. We are going to Dakar and I can’t wait to do it!’’ Price has been on a strong path this year after switching to Can-Am and Alsup Racing Development. The Can-Am Maverick X3 has performed flawlessly since the program launched. With Dakar in mind, Price’s strategy for this race was to run a clean and smart race for the whole duration of the event.
