UTVUnderground is always on the hunt for great companies offering innovative products and recently discovered Hi-Standard Outfitters. Hi-Standard manufactures high quality, easy to install products for a variety of UTVs, Jeeps and motorsport vehicles. Everything from secure storage boxes to pop-up campers, Hi-Standard Outfitters has a solid list of products for off-road enthusiasts. We brought one of their durable Storage Security Boxes to Baja to test out during the Legends Rally and were quite impressed with the overall quality. The Storage Security Box was easy to install and didn't require any drilling of new holes for mounting. It fit perfectly into our 2 seat Polaris General that was operated by the off-road Chef Drew Deckman. The chef needed some extra storage for his oyster knife, passport and personal gear and the Hi-Standard Storage Security Box worked great. The rubber liner on the bottom prevented his gear from bouncing around on the rough trails and he was able to lock it up. Deckman put the Polaris General through some serious abuse during the 400+ miles off-road on the Legends Rally and the Hi-Standard Security Box was a great accessory to keep his gear safe.

These boxes are manufactured from 1/8" thick Aluminum and are 100% TIG welded to withstand a beating for years to come. They're equipped with 2 cam latches for ease of access, as well as, a keyed lock so you can securely lock up your valuables when needed. The bottom of the inside is lined with a 1/16" neoprene rubber mat to prevent rattling of tools and equipment on the rough off-road terrain. It also has a 3/16" thick weather stripping the full perimeter of the lid, providing a dust and water tight seal. The inside dimensions of this box are L=32.75" x W=7.5" x H=11.25" yielding 2763 cubic inches of storage capacity. Each box weighs in at 24lbs and is weatherproof, lockable, and secure.

This is a drill free mounting box, which utilizes pre-existing holes in the Polaris General Bed for secure mounting.
