PCI Race Radios is proud to return as a contributing sponsor of this year’s The Mint 400, bringing an increased focus on racer safety with a dedicated Head & Neck Restraint (HNR) Fitment and Inspection Station during technical inspection.

While PCI will be on-site providing race communication sales and support throughout the event, the primary focus for 2026 will be safety — specifically ensuring racers have properly fitted and correctly installed head and neck restraint systems before taking on one of off-road racing’s toughest courses.

In partnership with industry leaders Simpson Race Products and NecksGen, PCI Race Radios will host a comprehensive HNR Inspection and Fitment Station during tech.

Certified representatives will be available to:

  • Inspect head and neck restraint systems for wear, compliance, and proper configuration
  • Assist with correct sizing and fitment adjustments
  • Provide guidance on tether routing and helmet compatibility
  • Answer racer questions about safety standards and best practices

Proper HNR fitment is critical in high-speed off-road racing, where unpredictable terrain and extreme conditions demand maximum protection. PCI’s goal is to ensure competitors roll off the start line confident not only in their communication systems, but in the integrity and fit of their life-saving safety equipment.

“The Mint 400 is one of the most demanding races in the world,” said Ryder Steinberger from PCI Race Radios. “We want every racer to know their head and neck restraint is properly fitted and functioning as intended. Safety is not optional — it’s essential.”

Racers are encouraged to bring their helmet and head and neck restraint system with their vehicle (need to be buckled in to fit!), to the PCI Safety Station during technical inspection for a professional evaluation.

PCI Race Radios looks forward to supporting the off-road community both on the course and in the tech line — helping competitors stay protected, prepared, and race-ready.
