As the Limited class racers prepared to get going in Primm, previous Mint 400 winners like Justin Lofton and Bryce Menzies were back in Las Vegas for sponsorship appearances and to meet with fans. While they spent their time with adoring fans, their vehicles rolled through technical inspection to get certified for Saturday afternoon’s Unlimited race.

Friday’s festivities wrapped up an exciting week of events in Las Vegas, which began with the Republic Services Mint 400 Parade that shut down the Las Vegas Strip with well over 100 of this year’s competitors. The week also included Wednesday night’s Dinner of Champions and Thursday night’s AMSOIL Pit Crew Challenge, the crowning of Miss Mint 400 Emily Dobrzenski, and a free Eagles of Death Metal concert on the Mint 400 Main Stage.

“The streets of Las Vegas always buzz around the Mint 400 Off-Road Festival, and we’re thankful to the countless fans who made their way through Fremont Street over the past two days,” said Mint 400 CEO Matt Martelli. “We also can’t thank all of the sponsors enough that helped make this year’s event what it is with their incredible displays and support of the event, both downtown and at the start/finish line in Primm. We hope that everybody who made it out to the Off-Road Festival over the past two days makes the time to join us in Primm!”
