LUCAS OIL REGIONAL OFF ROAD SERIES FINALIZES 2018 SCHEDULE
Corona, CA (December 22, 2017) – As racers & teams head into the holiday season with visions of shiny new race car parts under the tree, the Lucas Oil Regional Off Road Series announced their tentative 2018 schedule today.
"We are excited to introduce a new Southern California regional track this year that isn't too far from home for most of our teams and will add something new and different to our schedule. Arizona and Utah will continue on the same great tracks they've been using and we are looking forward to working together with Tim Jones (Director of AZ and UT) to bring safe, competitive, fun racing to all three regions." commented Regional Series Director Lee Perfect. "We have heard of a lot of new teams coming out and many moving to different classes so 2018 should be another great season of short course racing."
The Lucas Oil Regional Series were formed in 2010 in an effort to give racers a safe, affordable, family centered place to have fun and get started in short course racing at the same local tracks used by the pros. In addition to acting as feeder series for the popular Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series and giving the pros a place to practice and get up to speed before moving on to the national level, the series has developed its own following, growing almost 500% since its inception. Racers ranging in age from 6 to 75 come out to battle in 18 different classes ranging from karts and UTVs to desert cars to full sized pro trucks.
