2024 Polaris Xpedition Ultimate Shakedown
What's up everybody Matt Martelli here and today we are going to shakedown the 2024 Polaris Xpedition
The 2024 Polaris Xpedition platform has a ton of features, here are just a few of our favorites:
Travel/Suspension
The front features FOX 2.0 Podium shocks With Long Travel, High Clearance Dual Independent A-Arms, a Stabilizer Bar, and 14 inches of Travel.
The rear features FOX 2.5 Podium QS3 with Long Travel, High Clearance Dual Independent Arms, a Stabilizer Bar, and 15 in of Travel.
Plenty of suspension to get you, your people, and all your gear to remote off-road area you want.
Tires & Wheels
30” Pro Armor Crawler XP wrapped around 10-15 stock Polaris Aluminum Alloy Wheels
Engine / Transmission
114 HP Liquid cooled 999cc ProStar 1000 Gen 2 4-Stroke DOHC Twin Cylinder with Electronic Fuel Injection. The drivetrain features On-Demand with True AWD/2WDand VersaTrac Turf Mode. The Automatic Transmission is easy to use and all the normal modes including low for rock crawling.
Roof Top Tent
One of the main features of the Polaris Xpedition is ability to add the rooftop tent that can fit up to three people. The tent is firmly mounted onto a Rhino-Rack® Roof Rack with a retractable ladder system. Made from durable, water-resistant, and ventilated polyester/cotton ripstop canvas the rooftop tent keeps you up out of the dirt and keeps air flowing all around the tent resulting in a cooler sleeping environment.
Cab
This version featured an open cab with a half window, but you can get a fully enclosed cab with air conditioning and heating for more extreme climates
Cooler
I love how the Polaris NorthStar 15 QT Cooler cooler was designed to fit as a part of the vehicle platform. The integration made it durable and convenient when you are off-roading out on the trail.
Audio
The Polaris Xpedtion is outfitted with a JBL® Trail Pro 4100 Audio system that allows you to rock your tunes 24/7.
Winch
This version comes with Polaris Pro HD High-Mounted wicb with a 6,000 LB pulling capacity which is always handy, especially when you’re in the rocks.
Lights
Extra Lights are always clutch for night rides. This Honda talon also came with two Auxiliary LED Lights featuring 6 LEDs each with a total output of 30 Watts producing 2100 Lumens in a spot pattern.
