Help! Rock damage!

This is what happens when you're speeding through the desert with a stock skid plate folks.

Looks unweldable? So, need any help locating parts. Will be pulling motor out this week, so I can get back out to ride!

It'll definitely have to be a removal of the entire motor to get it on a welding bench or to replace. Looks like the front half needs to be replaced because a whole piece is cracked and moved. The rear half looks like it can be salvaged and welded.

Any opinions appreciated!

Rock in the middle of the desert at high speed. Heard it hit hard and, at the next stop, checked and it was leaking trans fluid.

upgrade to a fiberskinz skid plate from Benchmark Performance, that won't happen again.

This was a hard hit with a 1/4 ' skid that pushed the front case up about 3/16 that I had to have replaced.also your drain plug is not stock from what I know , the stock drain plug sets flush with the case and has a allen head that can strip out but less to hit .

Were you able to limp it back to camp?

Would've been drivable as it was only dripping fluid, but didn't want to run tranny with leaking fluid. El Tito towed us back with his Outlander.

Didn't think it was that big. It was at around 50mph in a whoop section, so the back was squatted down I think when it hit.
