I am truely saddened by this. Raced it, camped with the family, partied, and really enjoyed the variety of racers that come to this event. For someone to say that they won't have happen what happened at the MDR is just closed mind thinkin. How about that Whiplash worked hard to get this event off a busy weekend so they could man it, and now a new "regime" that has no clue of what an off-road race about says not on my watch. Some of the forestry people even said that the track was better than some of their roads that haven't had thirty years of racing on them. Rather they should work with the event holder and the local townships to make it a "safe" event that benefits everyone.
You can bet this isn't a dead issue as far as Whiplash is concerned. They'll be swingin bats for awhile to try and get this resolved.
