Looking to pick up a new grease gun and wanted to purchase the Polaris gun and grease tubes till I saw the price!! Whats in that stuff? Do I need that or can I just go to home depot and buy a normal gun with waterproof grease?
Is Polaris Grease anything special?

Polaris purple general purpose grease is really good stuff. Their CV grease is ok for general purpose, but I don't use it for racing. I REALLY like the Lucas heavy duty green grease for general purpose (wheel bearings, a-arm pivots, etc) and I am keeping my CV grease a secret (plus it is super expensive). 
Please don't tell us it's Sumatran kopi luwak monkey $hit, I couldn't stand it!!!I am keeping my CV grease a secret (plus it is super expensive).
It cracks my ass up that people actually think that Polaris makes petroleum products and that you have to use them You know, pigs really do fly

WHHHOOOOAAA!! You mean to tell me polaris has grease!!!! I would have never known after I greased my machine and shocks after the first drive. Lol
