I am going to put my nuts on the line even more than I already have. Forget about about the money I spent building a legit race course with grand stand seating and a beer and liquor license. I am going to guarantee the purse. $10,000 for the Unlimited Teams, and $5,000 for the UTV guys.

The city wants you to come back to Northern Nevada, and frankly I miss my Rock Racing and UTV Family. I might go broke, but I am gonna have a hell of a party in the process.

I had a meeting with a handful of influential people from the area on Tuesday, and the buzz for this event is exceeding the Lucas race.

Here is a quick summery of the week.

Monday ORBA OHV Leadership Summit: Over 40 associations have been invited to work on a collective plan that puts us in a winning position. As many of you know, I am passionate about keeping trails open. I am putting my money where my mouth is and have stepped up to make a run at building a winning strategy. We will have a legit moderator for this meeting. Former Idaho Representative Julie Ellsworth.

Tuesday
Partnered with the Nevada 4 WD association to lead you guys on some trail Runs. From Mild to wild.
Tuesday night we will have a RallyVenture Welcome party. Open to everyone.

Weds

Here is where it gets confusing.
I have been working on this for 8 years. This year its a proof of concept. 25 invited teams like we did with the OG13. They have no idea what I am going to throw at them. If it works we open it up to the public in 2015.

Weds Night we have a big party to celebrate the RallyVenture. Open to all. Our RallyVenture teams are going to retire to a private dinner and than we will party all night after we are done figuring out how to grow RallyVenture.

Thursday

Trails Rides, parties, and debauchery.
The Nevada 4WD association and a number of industry leaders will host trail rides from mild to wild.
get back early for tech inspection in the valet lane at the front of the Nugget Casino.
We follow that up with the PRP Seats Pool Party. Get your drink on, and chill by the pool.
The party is not over as we gear up for a hell of a night. The Raceline Rodeo. A mechanical bull riding contest with a fat Cash Purse and even better a Buckle Bunny Pageant with a fat cash purse for the best looking Hottie in Daisy Dukes and Boots. Yep we like hot chicks.

Friday
Qualifying at Hellsgate for our teams.
Free spectator entry, and Vendor show set up.

We will have security over night if you want to leave you stuff at the track.

Sat
HellsGate GrandPrix. all Hell breaks loose, as we introduce Unlimited 4WD racing to the masses. We have a late start so you can party Friday night, but be ready for a tough track and serious racing.

$10,000 for the the Unlimited 4WD Gold Main 'and $5,000 for the UTV's
In addition we have a Sportsman Class for the guys that want to get crazy in front of the spectators.

But wait there is more!

DEATHBOX DERBY! Build a gravity racer and race it down the hill. Can't afford an Unlimited 4WD racer? We still have something for you. Unlimited Gravity racing.

I know its a lot of moving parts, but I can't do anything simple.

I can't make any promises except I want to make this a fun event. I have few volunteers, a small budget compared to KOH, and next to no sponsors. What I do have is a Casino as a partner, and a city who wants you to come visit. Most important is that I have an amazing facility on private property with the ability to sell beer.

After a three year absence I am ready to take care of some unfinished business.

Bottom Line We have cheap rooms, great trails, good parties, and an awesome race track. I hope you will give our first year event consideration.

Been absent, and busy so this update is a little long


Here's a Sneak peak at the Poster that will start going up around town this week in addition to the Tom Wayes Poster we have already been displaying.
We have passed out over 5000 post cards for the event at Easter Jeep Safari and Jeep Beach. The Local market has been hit pretty hard as well. Next we will start dropping postcards at Jeepers Jamboree events across the United States.

In addition to the Post cards we have already handed out there will be an additional card based on the poster here in the local market. Lucas on one side, and the HellsGate GP on the other. This weekend I will have a booth at the Reno river festival and we have an additional 2000 post cards to pass out.

I have made arrangements to be at every major event in Reno leading up to the event. We are balancing our marketing between both the national and local markets. In addition we have pulled two months of full page advertisements in Crawl Magazine for the event. Thru a partnership with a friend that wants this to succeed we will have collateral at Jeepers Jamboree events across the country.

I have heard a lot of talk over the years about investing in advertising for Rocksports events. I can assure you we are spending a pile of money to make sure we have a crowd. Our last Facebook spend netted us over 60,000 Off road targeted impressions. I will be turning on a few additional marketing campaigns in the next month.

Our website is only 5 months old now, and is generating a steady stream of traffic with spikes in excess of 300 hits on some days. While not a dent in established sites, this is a brand new site with very little SEO value, and it is exceeding traffic numbers for a number of sites I manage in my real job.

No matter if its with us, a race team, or another promoter, I am happy to share the password with retailers and manufactures so that you might get more out of every dollar you spend.

Race teams you should know I have already turned a few sponsors who would be better served with a team onto some of our committed teams. We are close to finishing negotiations with the tourism boards for both Reno, and Sparks to do email blasts that highlight our teams, and their sponsors. I am reaching out to teams that have pre registered first.

I started negotiations today with our food and beverage partner. I hope you guys like Mexican food, BBQ, and hot dogs. We will have catering packages available as well. Next week I decide if its going to be Coors Light, or Bud Light. :flipoff2:

I would like to thank the Nugget Casino, Daystar, PRP, SXS Performance, and Raceline for their commitment and long time partnerships. Raceline, and PRP have supported my crazy ideas for around 10 years now. I am talks with a few more great companies inside and outside the industry, but its a little premature to drop those names yet.

Jeff, this event looks BADASS and I wish you have the most successful event this year, but unfortunately for me my summer schedule at wok this year will not allow my attendance I was going to make an effort to come play and race, but providing for the family comes 1st... So who is racing? $5000 seems like a really nice purse!!!! From what I gather this is going to be a very unique course. Short Course, desert, technical rock section and some jumps. I am insisting something like qualifying at KOH.

I'm going for sure whether I'll be racing or not is still up in the air. I just want to be a part of it some how. Seeing Jeff ' s track record this could be the next big thing.
