without a way to police the ECU reflashes, that seems dumb they would even put that in the rules. if they cant police the reflashes and ECU tuning, then why in the world put it in the rules. Hoping for good sportsmanship and honesty? nope.... not gonna happen... there will be folks running reflashes guaranteed.
stock turbo and injectors are pretty easy to see and notice a change. obviously Cory doesnt mind pulling a spark plug and checking the stroke of the engines. but i still dont think thats the perfect solution to police the turbo class
i truly think that with points and championship on the line for the N/A class, and for the Turbo class, you should feel just as much of a man winning the N/A class if you end up the points champion for the N/A class because there are still racers that race it, even with factory backing. 98% of the field this year (2015) has been N/A cars, that means 80% of the field next year will still be N/A cars. Why couldnt you feel super overwhelmed by winning in that class. i bet the N/A class will still have 30-40 entries every race. you are going to be racing against proven built cars with proven pro drivers. the class is still going to be backed by the factory efforts. i dont see why you could even remotely consider the class a joke to race in if you had an N/A car or bought an already built car from a race team moving up to Turbo.
