I always take my kids, they seem to stay entertained???? Past years it has been later in the year, usually around 4th of July, and it is warm, but not hot. It will probably be cool in the morning with about a 70 degree high or so. Depends on if it is overcast or not.

DD plans confirmed we will be leaving Friday at 0500 to we will be there by 0730.

THE KIDS LOVE THE TRAIN TUNNEL. IT IS PRETTY COOL. IF WE GET LUCKY ONE OF THE TRAINS WILL COME WHILE WE ARE THERE. THERE ARE OWLS LIVING IN THE TUNNEL. THEIR EXCREMENT LOOKS LIKE LITTLE CACOONS. YOU OPEN THEM UP & THERE IS A CRITTERS SKELETON INSIDE. WHEN WE STOP THERE ARE AREAS TO EXPLORE. IF THERE ARE SMALL CHILDREN WE WILL HAVE AN AREA @ REGISTRATION WHERE THEY CAN COLOR OFFROAD PICTURES & RECEIVE A PRIZE. ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS TO KEEP THE KIDS . LET US KNOW.

JENNE CAME UP WITH COLORING PAPERS FOR THE KIDS. I FOUND OUT ABOUT THE OWLS FROM ONE OF THE PARENTS ON ONE OF OUR RIDES. I AM TRAINABLE.
FRIDAY WE WILL PRE RUN & MARK THE TRAIL. SUNDAY WE CAN GO TO THE WINDMILLS OR IF WE HAVE ENOUGH TRAILERS & PEOPLE ARE UP TO IT. WE CAN GO TO ELLIOT MINES OR MOUNTAIN SPRINGS GRADE. THEY ARE BOTH TECHNICAL & COULD BE REALLY ROUGH SINCE WE HAVE HAD A LOT OF RAINS & EARTHQUAKES THIS PAST YEAR. THERE ARE OPEN AREAS WHERE WE WILL BE CAMPING THAT THE KIDS CAN PLAY BALL WHATEVER YOU WANT TO BRING TO KEEP THEM OCCUPIED. I HAVE WASH SHOES (HORSESHOES WITH WASHERS) IF ANYONE WANTS TO PLAY THAT. A LOT OF THE ADULTS BRING SQUIRT GUNS. THE CONVIENANCE STORE @ THE CASINO HAS BIG GULPS & ICE CREAM. IF ANYONE ELSE HAS ANY SUGGESTIONS TO KEEP THE KIDS ENTERTAINED. LET ME KNOW. THANKS. Wow DD that first pic is what I know call my old 6 seat Ranger. If you guys remember this is the ride that the Ranger saw the sky and the Jeep fell of the side and we saved it with SXS's. Great time.
THAT IS THE ELLIOT MINES RIDE. WE CAN GO UP THE BACKSIDE TO MAKE IT DIFFERENT. THE PIC OF INTERSTATE 8 IS THE MOUNTAIN SPRINGS GRADE RIDE.
Love those rides, I need to ride on someone's trailer but I can put up my F-250 to tow. Compadre how many SXS's are you bringing?
One the XP, but I don't think I can fit your RZR4 as it has a front bumper ;-(
On both ends compadre.... Well if it works out it works out if not we will ride around the trails.

Muy bueno Compadre, I will take out of the garage next weekend and take new pics to post. But tonight I will measure it I wonder how long it it from bumper to bumper.
WE WILL HAVE THE F-150 & A FLATBED. NOTHING WILL FIT IN THE BED BUT A BIKE OR QUAD. IT IS ONLY AROUND 12 MILES. WE CAN MAKE SEVERAL TRIPS. I VOTE FOR DOING THE BACKSIDE OF THE ELLIOT MINES. I DON'T THINK IT IS AS INTENSE AS THE MOUNTAIN SPRINGS GRADE & I REALLY HAVE NOT DONE IT YET.
