Hey guys,

Anybody willing to share what approximate fuel mileage they are getting from the XP 1000 turbo race cars? V2R is my first BITD race and I am not sure of the terrain features to estimate mileage.

Of course this is for pit strategy so any advice on that point is welcome as well! :)

Any help or any advice is much appreciated!

Thanks!

I always figure worse case when it comes to fuel milage and racing. The milage depends on what you're racing on, is it sand? Does the section have lots of high speed roads? And then you have to figure what happens if your dragging a flat tire for a while.
So when racing the 16 Turbo we figured @ 7MPG, that is what we would get when racing through San Felipe or something similar. Now with the 17 Turbo the worst mileage I have gotten is right around 5.5 so that's what I plan my pit stops around.

Very cool of Wayne to help out the newer racers. I believe this is good for the sport and one of the reasons I love it.
I could not agree more. As a former pro shooter I always helped out any new person I could. For sure there were times when I thought, man, it took me years to learn this or that and I just taught you it in 5 minuets. I think that is why many people aren't quick with the help. And they are not required to share. It is important to know that knowledge gained through those that have the experience is always greatly appreciated but NEVER expected. So thank you Wayne and sv12 for sharing and helping!
