Ok I'm trying to get this solved as i under stand these parts are different and not interchangeable. From what I have heard Polaris has gone back to the plastic cage in the diff for 2015. The 2014 has the aluminum cage and is much more reliable. Has anyone else had issues with losing front wheel drive?

Polaris has a new part number for a kit to to replace all the 2015 parts and convert it to aluminum. Part number is #2206012.

You know Katie's own sponsor makes a solution to this problem...I think...Im still kinda confused as to which part number replaces what and what fits when and on what date. Clear as mud right?

Here is a copy and paste from SuperATV's website.

ARC-1-33
OEM Part Numbers : 3235487 (I was told the ARC-1-33 replaces this number)
Will Fit:
  • Polaris RZR 1000 : 2014
  • Polaris RZR 1000 : 2015 - Manufactured 8/5/2014 and After. Will not fit 2015 models manufactured prior to 8/5/2014.
  • Polaris RZR 4 1000 : 2014+

Now there is a solution for your front differential roller cage always breaking. You wont have to replace it ever again with those cheap plastic parts from the factory. You can now replace it with a Heavy Duty 6061 Hardened Aluminum piece that will stand up to any torture you can throw at it.

This part was made for those who would rather be riding than working on their machines! Whether you are replacing this from experience or preventing future break downs, this is one modification that will be well worth the time and effort. This part is the first part that breaks in a front differential when using a stock plastic part.

We offer a LIFETIME WARRANTY on this product.
The two part numbers I see listed for the 2015's are:
3235487, $419.19
3235625, $131.19

I was told the $139.95 ARC-1-33 replaces the $419.19 3235487, this price differential between the 3235487 & 3235625 is only adding to my confusion. Anyone have anymore incite on these numbers? Plastic vs some kind of metal?

In the mean time I ordered one (ARC-1-33) just see whats up.

Do you think that if you order a 2014 front diff they still use the metal sprague? Or are they just selling you a newly produced 2015 front diff?

I believe when I ordered a 2014 different to replace the 2015 one, i received a 2014 unit. We have many 2015 cars, and ordered only the aluminum cages and rollerpins to update our "fleet". I read here that other items should be replaced s when opening up the diff, like the armature for example. Be sure to research before starting your repair.

I would hope you get a 2014 when you order a 2014 since the axels on a 2015 are 5/16" shorter. I would assume the diff is 5/8" wider on the 2015. If you put a 15 diff in the 14 your axels may not plunge correctly.
