We have been pushing for qualifying but I don't think Casey wants to traverse down that road for us right now. Maybe some day.
I know you have been pushing for it. The funny part to me is we have the largest group of vehicles by far, and we bring in the biggest sponsors to his series. But he still does not want to put in the effort and money to elevate our class to the point it should be. I look at the BITD races and RZR is all over everything. I don't see any Trick Truck companies sponsoring anything or putting up big money, but yet they have qualifying. Our class brings the money in his series and we are not getting the return investment in our class!
The bottom line is BITD can't have a race just for Trick Trucks like they do for UTV's because they would not have enough trucks to show up and cover the cost, let alone have any major sponsors. But BITD spends the money so they can have qualifying???

I don't agree with qualifying for utv desert racing. Where do you think the qualifying results will end up? Do you think it will be that much different from the previous race results? What about all the people that won't be able to come out 2 days earlier, remember we don't have trick truck money as utv racers. Most of us are busting our butts to afford to just come race. Imo qualifying is for Lucas oil short course style racing.

I totally get that it would cost more and not everyone can do it. But I also think the current system is a total joke!!!

And yes If we had qualifying the top ten starting order would look a lot different than it does now. Do you think guys like Jones, Burnett, Scanlon, Gordon, Piplic would start in the back? And that is just to name a few. There are some fast guys starting in the top ten for sure, but I think about 6 of them would get knocked back if there was qualifying. And why is it that the UTV class is the only class that does this in offroad racing? It is a huge advantage to start up front in a race like this when you have no other classes starting in front of you to make dust. In my opinion it should have been qualifying or a drawing for starting positions at this race.

i guess we are the only class because George Felix gets nerfed for not moving over, makes false accusations of getting intentionally ass rammed, files a complaint, gets proven wrong.

Why not just do a drawing? The cream rises to the top right?
If it was a watered course, guaranteed no dust, i would be down. I don't think i necessarily deserve to start 1st, but i sure as hell don't deserve to start behind George Felix.

Well we are starting DEAD Last. Literally DEAD Last. We are going to put the 1992 in the Pro Unlimited Class while we complete our new Unlimited Car. We will either be covered in Dust or Covered in Mud... Either way, we are going to be a mess... We will be racing under the 2921 Numbers. Should be a nice beating...

SORRY BUT ITS A NEW YEAR! ALL DRIVERS SHOULD BE DRAW AND THEN TOP TEN FROM THE FIRST RACE STARTS IN THE TOP TEN AT THE NEXT RACE. YOU MOVED UP TO TURBO AND YOU SHOULD HAVE HAD TO DRAW AND IF YOU GOT 1ST,10TH,OR LAST ITS HOW IT GOES FOR FAIRNESS IN THE FIRST RACE OF A NEW SEASON .TOP TEN START FROM A PREVIOUS SEASONS RACE MAKES ABSOLUTE NO SENSE UNLESS ITS IN ONES FAVOR WHO GETS TO DECIDE, that's my .002

besides it doesn't matter where you start you just might have to do more work is all like your first win in a new car a few years back at silver state you started way back, to say your to good enough or don't deserve to start behind a certain person in a new season makes you sound like a UTV premoddonna

yeah I got a fair draw no big deal, I am sure if you had a vote from the whole class there would be no drama on a new year, all draw start. But hey you don't deserve that right ? new year, new class? starting first ;)
