Oil and oil filter for 2012 900 xp 4

OK guys I know there are a lot of posts but I was wondering what is the best oil filter to run. And if you have the part number that would be great. What oil should I be running also or just stay with Polaris heavy duty oil? My machine has 1950 miles on it not sire if thatvmakes a difference on what type of oil.Thank you

I ran Mobil 1 0W-40 and a Fram 7317 for 5000+ hard miles and she's still runnin like new

I would change it about every two rides or about 500 miles

Remember more Phosphorous is better. Notice the content of the race oils. I think Polaris brand is somewhere in the 1000-1200 range. You need that for high stress conditions if you really mob in your RZR. Otherwise you will probably be fine with the street oil if you change it often. I believe the Polaris PS4 is a 5W-50 weight if I remember correctly.

Thank you Dan. That's funny I also replied on this thread. I think I will just stick to the Polaris extreme duty. That's what I have been useing and it works good.
