**UTVUnderground.com Official LOORRS Pics and Results**

UTVUnderground would like to congratulate all who competed in Las Vegas. The racers put on a great show both days. We would like to give a special congrats to Austin Kimbrell in his Monster Energy Kawasaki / XMF / Weller Racing / SouthernCaliWraps.com / UTVUnderground.com Teryx for sweeping both days in Unlimited UTV. Austin also took fastest lap for Sunday.

Also congrats to Chad George in his Monster Energy Kawasaki / Funco / Beard / C&G / RacerX / UTVUnderground.com Teryx for making the podium both days in Unlimited UTV and also making the podium doing double duty in his Super Lite. His win on Saturday in Super Lite was an insane display of driving skill!

Another special congrats goes out to one of our very first supported racers Code Rahders in his FrostyBurger / Weller Racing / Fox Shocks / Makita / UTVUnderground.com / SR1 Rhino for making the podium BOTH DAYS! Code is a great kid and he and his father Doug Rahders (UTVUG Member) have been working extremly hard to ensure the car is ready on race weekend. It is awesome to see Code grow up in front of our eyes and to see him really driving that SR1 to the limit while remaining under complete control is a BLAST!

Not to be left out is Corry Weller for another 1st place finish on Saturday in SR1. Tyler Herzog in his SR1 took 3rd on Saturday and took first on Sunday! Robert "Bobby" VanBeekum who after a rough day on Saturday with tech in regards to a fuel violation was able to come back on Sunday and show everyone that his Muzzys Kawasaki Teryx is for real and can turn off laps with the best of them. Don't count bobby out yet! And last but not least in his Walker Evans Racing Polaris RZR RJ Anderson who I have dubbed Mr. Consistent because RJ is such a smooth and gifted driver. RJ just picks lines, holds them tight, and fights his way around cars and onto the podium. Sunday's podium eluded him but he is still in prime position for a championship run in Unlimited UTV.Gary Thompson made it onto the podium on Sunday despite a DNF on Saturday. He had some rough luck in Round 5 but found a way to get back some points on Sunday. Lets hope we see Gary in Utah!!

In all it was a great weekend. It was a real treat to see everyone who made the podium this weekend running UTVUnderground.com decals! We look forward to the next rounds! Until then enjoy the pictures!

Joey, thank you for the kind words and to you & the Underground for supporting the UTV racers.

Couple ramblings of details I remembered over the weekend.

There was a guy looking to ask questions about Codes SR1 Sunday morning but he caught me while dealing with fuel issues, if you read this sorry, bad timing and if you are an SR1 racer you know what I’m talking about in regards to the fuel issue.

Gary (motogary) Thompson, thank you for the tire. That was a major time & stress saver, I owe you and hope to see the crew in Utah.

Chad Mittag of COD Fab, the guy is a machine & one of hardest workers I’ve ever met. Major props.

Austin Kimbrell & Chad George, At a glance when covered in mud their black & green Monster cars are hard to tell apart. Congrats on the podiums guys.

Jake Person, former Pro UTV racer turned major threat in the Pro Lite class and a real thrill to watch, Sunday was unreal.

Corry Weller, wow! She is really turning it up with a take no prisoners approach on the track, congrats for Saturdays win!

Dan Kelly is really a great guy, I totally misjudged him when we first met and he did get third (oops, I ment second) on Sunday, pretty sure he just lost his transponder on the last lap. His line in post tech was pretty funny too, “Do we get paid today? I need fuel money to get home.”

Best laugh, my son going from 2nd to 14th in the first turn on Sunday. “WOW DID I BLOW IT!”

I got more but will wrap it up with this.

Best line overheard in the grandstands; “Dude, touch me again & I’m throwing you over this F’n railing!” Made by some Pro 2 driver’s rock star wife to some hanger on fiddling with her radio head set & mic....while it was still on her head.

Hope everyone made it home safe, see you in Utah, I think its going to be huge.

Yeah sorry I had to split so early on Sunday Greg! I will put some sticks int he mail for you!

Doug! Keep up the hard work and thanks for all your support. Sorry we didnt get to chat, I did get to hang with your wife and Code for a bit in the stands which was nice.

Congrats to dan, I havent heard the scoop so didnt know what his position was in finishing on Sunday. He worked his butt off all Saturday night performing a motor swap so he could get back out there on Sunday. To hear he got 3rd is AWESOME!

Congrats to everyone! Cant wait for Lucas to post the video of the race.

Is there a R1 fueling issue I need to be aware of (as a future SR1 racer??)
UTVR- 40 FUEL
A. Fuel shall be automotive gasoline only.
B. Gasoline shall not be blended with alcohols, ethers, or other oxygenates, and it shall not be blended with aniline or its derivatives, nitrous compounds, or their nitrogen containing compounds.

No pump gas, pump gas is oxygenated (with ethanol) and most of the SR1's (out of cost & convienence) were running pump so they had to darin &flush their fuel system to eliminate any trace contaminates then buy a non oxygenated race fuel prior to racing. Minor PITA.

Unleaded choices are Sunocos GTX260, VP C10, or any leaded race gas not oxygenated.

just buy the kart fuel at the track and get a receipt. I said this last year to some of the UTV peeps, they finally got busted. ( luckily it was only after Qualifying) BTW, this was not a R1 machine that I heard.

Look at it this way, now you have to run a better quality fuel than pump.

Edit, I didnt like the way ours ran on pump, farted, popped, almost sounded lean. I like how it runs on race much better and since all the Teryx guys are running leaded it sealed the deal for me.
