ABORT. ABORT! Yay! :D
Is anybody else glad that today's planned launch of the Orion spacecraft was scrubbed? Is anyone disappointed? Does anybody care?

The Orion Mission will threaten the serenity of space more than any missions prior. It will act as a platform to launch future missions on an inter-planetary invasion of our solar system, as well as research planetary defense  (yeah, there are little green men out there) and lay the framework for asteroid location, diversion, research, and destruction.

After we've raped this land in just a tiny spec of time, basically the industrial revolution over the last 100 years, we are now reaching out to exploit and abuse the heavens, and possibly some other beings space. Haven't we already shown that our greed is paramount over preservation of our motherland? When does a man feel he has enough, and why does he strive to consume all for his betterment? What about the less fortunate who's world is squashed by the powers that be? You know they wont be invited.

As our universe is on an ever expanding path, life follows the same course. From the first single celled organism, life has ruthlessly evolved and I would expect that just as we crawled from the primordial ooze, so too will we crawl from the confines of our minute incubation chamber called Earth.

Unless of course, an o-ring fails and the rocket blows up

Then, when mankind concocts a formula to exist outside of this atmosphere, he will consume and trash the heavens just as he did our motherland. Our insatiable appetite for self service, at the expense of the environment and others, will be our demise.

Seems like sometimes people who have the least, give the most.

Others who have the most, give the least.... and always want "more".
