My guess would be trailing arms. If you look at the pic it looks like the bottom of the car goes down toward the center of the wheel. I don't think the frame would do that, but a trailing arm would. As far as the shocks go, it is still possible to have them there and use a trailing arm. The shock can be attached to the lower radius rod. This would explain the shock location and what appears to be a trailing arm and sway bar link.
That's what I was thinking too, why would the frame have a downward angle like that. Looking forward to seeing exactly what's what with it.

I'm thinking maybe its more of a J arm (Unequal length) and not a true A-arm. So the front side of the arm extends forward toward the middle of the chassis and the back side of the arm would be in a more traditional pick up point.

Just by the shock angle I cant see how you could have a trailing arm? Then again I keep going back to the 5 link system. I guess we will see in a few days!

It's a strut, and the sway bar is attached to the seat belt mount which triggers the kill switch to prevent the 1.88 jigawatz from causing it to make the jump to light speed which usually results in someone loosing a pancreas.

It's a new design.

I could be wrong but we will know soon......

Man that looks good. Yamaha sure has a way to make cool looking stuff. I think the roof line would look better without the pyramid in the middle but maybe it provides good headroom.

Believe it or not. A polaris xp1k is just an a arm rear suspension. Me and madmav will agree!!
Either way fabwerx will build the 1st race chassis

True the 112hp may be just as fast as the XP1000 due to the much more efficient driveteain. So, what happens when the turbo motor they already produce makes its way into one? Starting to resemble a mini class 10 car.
