sat at the offroad expo i grabbed a lowrance elite 5m hd gps to replace an old lowrance 5. and grabbed some axia cage mounts. but not looking at the gps first 
the elite does not have the side holes like the older models. so i grabbed an elite mount from pci that was closest to a surface mount. ended up with a rzr 900 gps mount. was gonna weld it, but it has a 45 bend in it. so what i did was cut off the left L piece, redrilled the right bracket. and mounted some spare axia alloy cage rings i had with the 6mm hole. fits perfect on a LTI or other cage dash crossbar. and has a great view angle for the driver. so at least we have an option for us elite gps owners. pics below.
