It's good to be king. Casey and his crew can do whatever they want. Like or leave it....... They don't care. They wrote the rules and they choose what they enforce or make exceptions for.

That does look like a pretty solid rule to me .. but it was a split second call by somebody that didnt have time to shuffle thru a rulebook. Still a stand up move by Sims not that I would have helped cognito lol I would have walk over with a frosty bottle of water and just taunted them .. either way Justin would have got his car across the finish line so it a win win for two of the top race teams !

You and Sean Cook don't account for "a lot of people". I spoke to wayyyy more people then you and didn't hear one person even come close to shitting on this finish like you are. Sean questioned me on it and seemed fine with it but did say you were going to be upset or something to that affect.

One thing I hate is when people say "all these people are mad" or " I know a lot of people agree" say their damn names or let them come say or STFU about it. That's just how I feel. And with that said you are entitled to your opinion George and this doesn't mean I don't like you. Just think it's BS to even consider this as a poor call on BITD or anyone else for that matter. It's off road racing for crying out loud. The most unprofessional professional motorsport in the world. And that's what makes it awesome.

What Brandon did was bad ass!!
wait wait wait LOL so cook was crying about it? didn't he get towed in and across the finish line of the mint400 last year ?

SEC13: No vehicle shall be towed, pushed, pulled or transported by any non-race-entered vehicle on the
official course while an official event is still in progress. Another race entered vehicle or an
official Best In The Desert Racing Association vehicle may push, pull or tow the race-entered
vehicle up to the nearest pit stop or checkpoint but may not push, pull or tow it through the pit
stop or checkpoint. Occupants of the vehicle that is pushed pulled or towed to that point must
make necessary repairs in order to leave that area under their own power. No vehicle may be
pushed, pulled or towed by another vehicle within the last two-hundred yards (200 yards) of the
finish
; only the vehicle occupants at the time of the breakdown may push the vehicle through the
finish line. No other person or persons will be permitted to assist in pushing, pulling or towing the
vehicle. Best In The Desert Racing Association officials may lend assistance to any race vehicle
or the vehicle occupants in any manor Best In The Desert Racing Association deemed
reasonable, such as retrieving the vehicle, pulling the vehicle, shuttling parts, tools/equipment, etc.

The big question is, Is this a rule or not. Gray area or not grey area. There in the same sec of rules. Again what MR sims did I would of done too, and if I was pushing utv for anytime I would take all the help that came too. As much as most of us dont want to admit it George is right. Rules suck balls.
ok yes so its the rule but if a official gives you the ok to bend a rule then it is what it is, Mr. Felix acts as if he lost to cognito because of this. He is also a do as I say and not as I do we can ALL REMEMBER HIS NERFING THREAD AND THEN GOES OUT IN BAJA AND DESTROYS glazzcraft car by nerfing lol just saying.

Then why have rules? If casey is king then BLM is god and they run the same as casey. If you don't like the rule we wrote and enforce how ever we want go somewere else.

Loosers focus on winners, winners focus on winning.
I'm impressed you made that up all by yourself?

Staggs you crack me up! Your so desperate to be in the clique you'll say anything. I'll probably always lose to Cognito regardless. It has nothing to do with it but it does keep the thread alive so keep going. Alonzo was the first car I ever nerfed and only after you guys insisted that real men assplow.....so it was peer pressure and I was desperate like you to be cool. Turns out I plowed too hard and didn't destroy his ass end but obliterated it....lol You could hardly recognize it. Was second in the botched nerf of the year contest to Cognitos assplow on Nygren where they locked up like two French poodles. The quartet sized dent is still on Alonzo's bumper with a dab of pink paint proudly displayed......he reminds me often. On a side note....he was all lined up for the payback at Laughlin and foaming at the mouth but then I explicitly I moved over and he had to abort......unlike the 1797 Jeepspeed who put a bigger dent in my bumper AFTER I was pulled over and nearly stopped. I guess once you decide it's going to happen nothing can stop it. I still feel violated..but they did DNF right after.

oh Felix you make me LMAO also with some of the crap you come up with IDK what clique your talking about I have raced utvs for years on my own running and funding my own program with some great sponsors i have built relationships over the years and great family and friends who make it possible, yes I did race with cognito for a few years and we are still friends and there a great bunch of guys when you know them
( so does that mean I got kicked out of the clique?)
but things changed and I went from racing short course in my own car to now giving desert a run in the new yamaha. there is no clique is just racers who show up and have a good time and can get along its what I like about the racing community and then get serious on race day, I am sorry you cant see that for what it is. I always do my own thing LOL so keep pursuing your clique idea makes me laugh.

If Mitchell and I had not received push help from Sims and Krause, we would have had it across within an extra 3 minutes. If Kristin Matlock had finished within that i would say we owe her our first place finish. She was around 18 minutes behind, we still would have had first by well over 10 minutes, so i am comfortable where we landed. I knew there was a rule about towing across the finish but didnt realize it was also pushing.

Lambert finished in 7:02:27
Matlock finished in 7:24:40

Matlock started 30 seconds behind Lambert. This Justin almost a 20 minute buffer to push the car over the line. Do you think he would have made it without Sims help? My guess is the official (Who are not always up to speed on the race and the standings) Probably gave Sims the green light because of the Grand Prix finish. With Sims across the line already everyone after him is stopped.

Joey first of all I didn't take a survey on this but the rumor started w Sims towing them then pushing them and people were questioning the tow. I said not a problem perfectly legal but not the push across the finish. Then it turns out was no tow. I totally disagree with you that it wasn't a bad call. It was totally unnecessary and even Casey will tell you it should never happen. I know you promote guys and create images but that's not my concern. Still no one wants to talk about the fact that this same thing happened at Silver State. Worst call ever....you know the details and it stems from Bitd making exceptions to the rules too freely. I'm not going to name names but like I said a guy did stick his head into my car at staging and said basically thanks for not being a suck ass! So he associated George Felix with not being a suck ass....I'm ok with that. I try to be fair and honest and I'm not always right.

FYI someone sent me this.....
BITD Rule SEC13 states...only vehicle occupants at time of breakdown may push the vehicle through finish line. No other person or persons will be permitted to assist in pushing, pulling or towing the vehicle. Is there 4 people allowed to ride in a utv race?

Based on this I think a horrible call....hardly BS. but ABSOLUTELY NOT A REFLECTION ON EITHER DRIVER! You and others keep making it about the drivers and it's not. Let the freaking racers race and Bitd should stay the fuck out of it. Imo and many others. You don't see the first base umpire telling the runner he missed the bag. If this is the best professional Offroad series in the world as Casey put it then start acting like it and take away the Bitd titty from the racers. They are suppose to be professional so let them be.....respect the rules and abide by them. That's professional. When did you ever see referees on the field discuss a call then announce "well the ruling on the field is suppose to be incomplete pass but the wind kicked up so we're going to let it go and call it a first down because it doesn't effect the final results. Maybe in a Charger game idk California is a little whacky since I left.

Was talking to his helicopter about a wreck on race track, it was a emergency lol. That's the grey area can use for emergency but not for racing help. Why have helicopter in first place. why have rule about pushing, because rules suck.
What your referring to is SCORE. Awesome format like Death Race 2000 just let them race and first one to the finish win! Not realistic for Bitd but you have to admit that advancing cars along the race course is odd to most people. I think it's a result of the pussification of America myself. Btw where my participation ribbon?

Your participation ribbon is your lame ass "finishing" points for going 230 of 345 miles of a "race"
