Looking at the Mr406 for an Xp41k, which wheel widths do you recommend?

I would have paddles as well as dirt tires mounted to them.

For your sand tires for the best flotation I would do 8" up front with the 10" wide in the rear.

I would be ok with running 8" all the way around for dirt and sand if your on a budget. Always nice to have the comfort of a beadlock.

For tires I was planning on running 30in mongrels.

Would the 14x10 on the rear be too wide?

Id say im in the dirt/trails 80% of the time.

For Dirt and trail a 7/ 8" wide will wheel will work Ideal. The 10" works great for areas that you would like to get that extra flotation. Sand, mud or the washes is where that wider rim excels and is really set up for a 12/14" wide tire.
