I would like to know why (how) a couple of RZR’s pulled away from the Can Am. Don’t the Can Am's have 101 hp. Im assuming the RZR’s are built but still

There are alot of unknown factors that go into that when it comes to racing. we have a stock motor and a stock exhaust but big names like Rj Anderson... we have no idea the extent of his internals. We also dont know what there clutching is like. In addition a smaller tire will let them run off the faster. We took a 5th place overall.

That's called the holeshot and that RZR got it because it clearly has more power. The power comes from the proper port/polish job as well as tuning and making everything line up just right. Traction and clutching is also important and hard to get just right.

The 37 car is RJ Anderson's car......and it is believed to have a Kroyer motor.....as a reminder the Pro Class is limited to 1000cc........built motors are allowed in this class and there are some formidable engine builders the likes of Sparks, Kroyer, Benchmark and Queen who all produce 935-997 cc power plants.

When you consider that a car like RJ's or others like Piplic's tip the scales at no more than 1300 lbs or so it is not fair to assume the Maverick was underpowered or slow off the line.

This past year the Mavericks have started to get their legs and are very competitive.....tighter courses tend to favor the rzr but all in all this last race should see a number of can am's fighting for a podium spot.

We wish the best of luck to all racing this week/weekend at Primm.
