i picked up some ITP huerericane 15x7 wheels for my T4, now i need to decide on tires. I found cheapo Hercules MT's for $105 each and all the way up to BFG KM2's for $190. Being cheap i want to go with the $420 set but are the Mt's too agressive?

i only use my T4 for the rocky desert and northern AZ trees with the twice a year trip to Glamis(which the wife drives it to vendors and Olds hill).

should i be looking at AT's?

and no i am not going to a UTV tire, just out of principle. Friggin UTV tires are stupid expensive and weigh just the same as the tires i am looking at.

Everything I've read says that lite truck tires weight quite a bit more then UTV tires. I looked up the KM 2 and it showing 49 pounds. The UTV one I think is 38 or 39 pounds. That's 10 more per corner!!! I'm shopping tires too right now and I'm really paying attention to weight. Just sayin'....

I have the km2. I think you will loose to much power with the t4. Mine our 59lbs each with 401 methods.

It sucks all most all of utv tires wont get past 2000miles some are down to 1100 miles on them and they have to be replaced. But that's on rzr 1000 not teyx not sure if teryx has enough power to spin 30's lol. I am pretty sure locked rear diff is most of the problem. But still for as much as they cost you would think they would last allot longer. Going to put a set of discount tires on next 1000 and try that at least I will get road hazard lol.

I have been running the Dunlop Mud Rover in a 30-9.5-15 and really like it. Not that heavy at 37#'s each. I have quite a few hard miles on them now and have not had a puncture. Cheap and have road hazard on them...

Lots of reports of the Tensors holding up really well. I am really trying to avoid going to a 15" wheel due to the extra weight but some of these lighter LT tires make very tempting.
