- 20 mile course staged at Slash X Ranch outside of Barstow, CA
- UTVs run 6 laps in the morning heat
- $500 Bonus Purse with 10 UTV entries
- $1000 Bonus Purse with 15 UTV entries
- $2000 Bonus Purse with 20 UTV entries
- Additional $1000 to first UTV to beat 1st Class 9 car.
- $1000 to Overall Winner of the Morning Heat. (Last year it was a 9 car)
- 60+ mile course located outside of Ridgecrest, CA
- UTVs run 4 laps
- $500 Bonus Purse with 10 UTV entries

Can we assume that if we pass BITD tech that we will pass MORE tech? What is the average entry fee?

Yes if your car is BITD legal it will pass MORE tech and yes they do use GPS course maps. As far as entry fees and course downloads you can just go to the Website and you should find all the info you need. http://moreracing.net/
Maybe I just cant find it but I'm looking for the rulebook, I saw something about a required hans type device.

Yea, been racing MORE for years and there has never really been an online rulebook. The rules for tech have always pretty much followed SCORE rules. The Jeffers have taken over the operation from Jim and you can contact them I'm sure with any questions that you might have. If you decide to race you wont be disappointed, they are real desert race courses and not courses with a lot of bladed dirt roads and a few tough sections.

MORE uses BITD UTV Rules, however at this time MORE will not be splitting up the turbo and non-turbo pro classes. MORE does require a SFI 38.1 Head and Neck Restraint for driver and co-driver. Other than that if your UTV passes BITD tech it will pass MORE's.

We have raced a ton of MORE over the years (since the second race the series existed) and they run great local events. Well marked courses with ZERO blading. As for beating a 9 car, if a UTV can stay together in Barstow or Lucerne it should, but most of their courses make the Primm-MINT area look like a freeway...

Congratulations to Kent Perkins for taking on 15 of the fastest Class 9 cars in the desert and besting them all, taking home $1000 from MORE. Perkins was charging hard for the Overall win of the morning heat but came up a few minutes short finishing 2nd Overall, and just missing out on an additional $1000!
