It was a poor reference of the thrills & spills of the first wave or two of boats to stop 1. Several years ago I was the boat that that was passed between us & shore by JT in the new wide body. I'm looking for big numbers this year with no carnage....be safe!

Were Old Skool V-Bottom guys. Our Buddies 42' Fountain with Larrys Engine and Marine 900's ran a 124 mph which is haulin Ass in a big V.
Heres a Quick video just cruising down the Colorado River from Pirates Cove to Havasu. 80 mph at just over 4k.

Heres a picture of the tattle tale speedo. and the 900's. We stired the gravel on the river bottom Idling around pirates cove and dinged the props with debris and that cost 4k to have Herring refinish them to like new again, OUCH..
Having a few small dings in the Surface Drive props also caused some other issues. Bob Teague said that it cracked the oil pan that started leaking because the Harmonic vibration of dinged up props cracked the Pan. He said he has seen dinged up props cause even bigger problems thru Harmonic distortion. Crazy Shit.

Going over a 100 in a 38' plus boat is fun, but not nearly as scary doing that speed in a flat bottom boat skipping along the water.

No better thrill than going down the Parker Strip in a 21' Schiata doing 110.

I miss the fun of the Parker Strip in the 80s with all the fast flat bottom boats.

Yes Sir. I think it will do right at 200 MPH.
Way too fast for me without a roll cage and a 5pt harness.
He love's his boats......And really anything that goes fast. He actually can ride a bike pretty damn fast in the desert too.

Dude our motors in a Cat would be a 150+ mph boat. Dirks Eliminator With the GT Performance motors can be turned up to 1650+. He Should have Built a Cat and it would be a 180 Mph range Boat. But oh well. You Guys would never stand a chance Running to Catalina with us in one of those Lake boats. LOL.

Hey Justin You know where this place is. LOL. Not sure if you ever been that far from dock. Hehe
