So the pot. Has been sweetened and the rules have changed a bit

Lifted from RDC

OK $2,500 is not enough Lets make it $5,000 that would be $3,500 cash and 2 entrys one to the Bap and one to Rage next year . This is now open to the fastest average time in class 9, 5-1600, champ car and UTV that finnish the race.
Anyway, I wish good luck to whoever (if any of ya) decides to give snore a shot for this event.

Happy thanksgiving.

The river is the Colorado River. The race is in Laughlin NV. The course is like 12-13 miles. its mostly desert with a small infield area that graded with man made jumps. I am unsure if they run "hot Pits" or if you would pit at your actual pit.

Tech takes place in a casino parking lot and traditionally there is a "booze Cruise". Theres a row of casinos along the river and a mob forms at the northern most one and we travel south getting a drink at each bar all the way to the tropicana (thats where tech is).

The Main pit is less than a mile from the casinos.

Race wise there is some bumpy stuff and decent holes. The only real advantage the buggy guys would have is larger tires.

There are about a dozen guys who run snore in 5-1600 and besides like three of them, they dont run a full season, Just battle at primm (also an awesome event and with the same format as this race, just a different location. heat race, 12ish miles, fun fast place with a casion at the starting line.). You could safely assume there will be a decent turn out of these cars because the dudes who race BAP would likey run RAGE at the River also. The rest of the snore races are standard desert events and way longer courses.

There are a ton of nine cars too. seriously, lots. SNore is a huge buggy race series and the regulars in all the snore buggy classes are also some of the best buggy racers in any series. BAP and Rage bring out some quick buggy dorks for real.

check this link for points for these guys. http://www.snoreracing.net/images/points/2014/points.pdf

you will see that Battle at Primm has a ton of racers while the other events, not so much. Rage is usually almost as good as Primm. Not as good but close. Maybe look at last years points and see.

The dude Rulo solano who race 5-1600 is fast as hell. watch out for him.

Mini Golf, Maybe? One flat, and your out of contention.

Oh and SNORE has a forum called "checkpoint". heres a link http://www.snoreracing.net/checkpoint/forum.php

Johnny: Laughlin race is like the last Imperial Valley race. Two day format with normal desert and an infield course except their is a jump off of 8' to a flat landing (no ramp) which is unique. Your two seater would be fine just make sure your suspension is dialed for the landing. Go for the $$$$ challenge as I doubt many UTV's will be there.

I'm heading out for this race tomorrow. It seems the back and fourth banter and Kenny's addition of champ and 5-16 cars killed the little momentum this had for the UTV crowd.

It seems weird to me that after all the talk about how when reviewing times you guys put up some decent speeds, that the addition of 5-16 and champ cars was a reason for some who were on the fence about doing this event are now backing out.

I wish our guys would show up. I don't think it really any of these classes pose a threat. I think the bigger threat is 50 cars that can win and only 3 are UTV's. The odds are against us. No worries we have plenty of races to do this year.
