so being a cheap mofo i decided to make my own.

i started with metal rings cut out to fit inside my stock steel T4 wheels.

i then clamped them to the wheel and used some stainless rod to space them equal all the way around.

Next i tack welded them in place and then ground down the tacks smooth

I then welded about 2" at a time on oppisite sides and let the wheel cool between welding.

after welding i flat topped the welds and cut shallow grooves to help the tire not spin on the wheel.

added some black paint and bolted it up with 1/4" grade 8 bolts from my old OMF billet center wheels.

i have $120 in metal in all 4 rings, now thats a cheap!

thanks to Rhinonut for the blue rings.
