I'm switching from a head unit in the glove box to a small amp direct to an ipod. How did you guys wire the amp so its not always drawing power? Did you put a switch? How about a relay or fuse?

All thoughts appreciated!

I ran switched power with an inline fuse as well. Works great.

Yeah we always tell customers to use a switch for the amp, very easy install and works great.

A trigger switch is low amp. No need for a relay. That is the way I set my SSV Works system up.
I'm confused of how a trigger switch would work. In my mind I'm thinking of a trigger switch like on a skillsaw or drill, am I just thinking of the wrong kind of switch or is there another type of switch with the same name?
