233 RACE TEAMS READY
TO TAKE ON THIS WEEKEND’S
BLUEWATER DESERT CHALLENGE PRESENTED BY POLARIS RZR
Over 240 entries are expected by the time the green flag drops this Saturday morning for the first heat race at this weekend's shootout in the desert.

The BlueWater Desert Challenge presented by Polaris RZR officially kicks off this Thursday October 6th with Time Trials for the 30 Trick Trucks and 14 Class 1500 Unlimited Desert Cars entered to determine Saturday’s starting positions for the two separate classes. The driver that records the quickest overall qualifying time between the two classes will earn the Team Ford “Pole Award” and $1,000 cash bonus that goes along with it.

Under the warm Parker, Arizona sun Friday morning, contingency and tech inspection gets going in the parking lot of the BlueWater Resort & Casino. Hundreds of the top performance and desert enthusiast companies will have their products on display as the high tech race vehicles parade through the festive event. This is a great opportunity for excited fans to check out the most exotic race cars and equipment in the world.
Saturday morning is when the real business of racing hits the desert with the first race starting at 6:15 AM. The non-stop action will continue with six races scheduled for the day over the challenging 26-mile loop style course that includes tire eating rocks, high speed straights, wild air-time jumps and sections of bottom silt that get deeper and deeper with every lap. Sunday morning the racing starts again with the first race at 6:15 AM followed by action all day after that. With the start/finish line located just about one mile from the host hotel, this a great weekend to come to Parker, Arizona and take in the thrilling racing by day, then enjoy everything the beautiful BlueWater Resort & Casino has to offer at night.

Saw a post race with Robby & Max Gordon. 8 year old Max drove a very much stock Arctic Cat Wild Cat in 1900. It looks like he finished 12th. You saw where I said he was 8 years old right???

In the post race interview Robby said that Max asked him the day before if they could win the race? Robby told him No, we brought a butter knife to a gun fight. But I promiss you by Parker we will bring you a Machine Gun to a knife fight.

I'm guessing that's a good clue to when Arctic Cat will be releasing the new RG Arctic Cat UTV that we have all heard the rumors about.

What is the minimum age requirement to race bitd? For some reason I thought was 16. I know a young teen that has asked the question. Happy Max got to start the race and all......
