I got the idea from Ben. And yes it works great. There's a tiny bit of play in it, but otherwise works great.

Like most of the adjustable columns there is some play in them, I have the kartek version of that and have had them in the past, they are a little sloppy especially with a removable wheel , but once driving you really don't notice it....

I didn't really like the play in it, and I am building the car for me. I set the steering wheel where i wanted it, no need to adjust anymore, or add more weight to the car.

JD2 model 32 bender and dies, Notchmaster notcher, and plasma cutter are ordered and shipped out on their way to our shop... Fabrication should continue in a week or so.

We had to cut out the square tubing we welded in for the Weller engine mounts and modify the mounts for the 09 R1. After some changes we finally got the square tubing put back in where it needed to be and the engine is mounted in..

The 60 tooth sprocket didn't hang down as far as I was expecting... A gaurd plate with a channel in it will protect it!
