Appreciate your comments. The RZR S 900 is a great rock crawler. I just couldn't keep up in the desert and had to make harder passes in the rocks.

I got 9th starting position. Got a side bet with Dean Bulloch who is racing a Wildcat Sport. I am racing a RZR S 900 so this is a little 60-inch race within a race. Dean starts 4th I think so I plan to put some pressure on him in the desert. :D

There are currently 40 UTV Drivers signed up to race the Polaris KOH UTV Race during #KOH2015! The winner will be receiving a Polaris Razor xp1000. They won't need to take it home from the lake bed, we'll arrange for them to pick it up from a local dealer!

I traded a few messages with Dave Cole and he said a stock Polaris cage with roof would be fine. I specifically asked if the Desert Edition would be legal and he said, yes, with wrist restraints.

I thought the Wildcat 6-point was already cleared.

Well, Polaris is the title sponsor, and the stock cage is 6-point. You should be able to add a roof on the stock cage and run it. I originally was going to race a nearly stock Desert Edition XP 1000. It would be good to see that clarified ASAP and allowed so we can get more entries.

The factory XP 1000 cage with roof should be sufficient for Pro. Why wouldn't it?

Cody Currie needs to step it up and run Pro....

Just listened to Ultra4 Racing Live tonight. There will be Qualifying for Pro class. They announced the order, but it went too fast to write it down. Sounds like the course will be about as hard as last year. Get your game on. And no complaining!!!

Dave mentioned that all UTV racers are a bunch of whiners too. Complaining about cost to race. Complaining about race results. Payout. Course too easy. Course too hard. Wah wah wah.

Talked to Dave Cole today. Pro UTVs will be qualifying for start position on Tuesday. He also said this would be the last year for UTVs at KOH. He said turnout is too low to justify the costs.
