I dont know how they set up the rules for this point to point.. but if was like the GP rules are used at the Bluewater GP.. even if you dnf the first day.. you can make repairs and start the second day at the rear...

Anybody know how to track more than one class at a time? Id like to see Unlimted, Pro and Pro Turbo at one time on the course..

Why they just didn't do what Murray's did and have two cars run...one in Turbo Pro and one in Unlimited Pro since they have two really fine drivers with Shane very capable (very very capable) as well is beyond me (they could have other guys run as co-drivers just for this race) and then switch...

Another thing to point out.. yes you may have been on the horn,,,but not all horns and or Sirens are the equal.. I think it should be manditory to have the very loud police sirens.. which most times you can hear.. but not always.. I have loud cars that you just cant hear anybody behind you...

Yeah...time fly's when you're having fun.. or busy with work trying to keep your head above water!

Pro unlimited has 4 cars as well... so 53 preregistered.

At the beginning of 2015 when we entered Unlimited Pro.. I asked Casey to change it on the forms and refer to it as a Pro class since we pay the same entry as the pro class and there are payouts etc... I thought they change it on the entry forms too..

Eric Burrier of Rockstar racing (928-230-1558) in Lake Havasu City built the cage of my Can Am Max....very custom,,lowered the seats in the rear, custom lockable box in the back, removable roof rack etc etc.. very very reasonable with race quality build.

I dont know why Unlimited Pro never gets mentioned...sure it has had it issues..but this is its first year (its not just SR1cars anymore) but there are at least 5 cars at every race this year..and 5 cars at this race (and I think another 2-3 will be there too) which is nearly 25% of the Pro...

Im aware of that... as this is my fifth year racing it...still up 25%....which makes it a pretty substantial increase my book.

Does seem pricey to me as well...up $200 from last year ($700 vs $900) almost 25% more- in the scope of all the other costs in racing not much...but it all adds up.

well even Lansky has binding contracts with more than just 1 sponsor (Can Am and others) where we are paid to race with thier product.. and receive contingency payments etc based on podiums etc...so the real point you are saying is this isnt a pro class because we dont have to qualify to...

Oh George...love ya man but quite opening thy mouth... inserting foot. There are quite a few Pros racing BITD..many teams are compensated (including me) by Sponsors.. either in cars,parts or cash or all of the above... and some, Jagged, some partially (Mark B and maybe Holtz) are making a living...

I have heard somewhere and it seems wise... watch what people do... not what they say..

I know of 3 cars for sale too (or about to be for sale).. and I bet they are NOT the same cars as you know of.. loads of uncertainty.. but my recommendation is to hold off.. I'm betting things will come to fruition hopefully soon..

I too think the rule needs to be 33" for all.. as it opens up so many more alternatives...and is more inclusive to more sponsors getting involved in the fastest growing class in off road racing. If you want to run 28-30 or 32's great.. just allow the racers as many options as possible.

I think you have 3 classes... You dont want to do away with the current Pro Unlimited class as I think you will see that class grow as you need to remember it went from SR1 just last year to a true Pro Unlimited class this year.. you will see more and more better built and sorted cars hit that...

I spoke to Bill S. this morning..He and Cory went over the questionnaires.. Bill presented the information and it sounded like he and Cory made some headway... I'll let Bill fill in the details- but it sounded encouraging.

This is the argument I have been making for a year...mostly to deaf ears...including yours to an extent Joey... sounds like there might be some consensus in moving that direction. Guess we'll see.

Ok.. dominate might a be a tad premature... they will improve very quickly to the point where all the top teams that "dominate" will be driving turbo's. Better?

No...but they have started to dominate...S3 should've won this race except for their transmission issue they should have and the Murray s got second (and those two teams are at the top either with or without turbo's). As more show up and get sorted out.. I believe they will...and that includes you.

You'd know that better than me...Im a can am guy and you could do the cam am version for that..plus you can offset some cost by selling the na motor/trans etc.. Joey is smart.. he uses the OPM method of building cars...which brings up the question of when is Joey going to race the new race car...

When you get just a frame from the Factory (as the Pro teams sometimes do) my chassis didn't have a VIN number on it.. as they are not complete vehicles. Assuming Polaris Chassis may not either.. but not certain.

So... okay so that's a new rule (which is a good rule in my humble opinion)...which is effective Jan 1 2016- so to my point, unless some of the Polaris guys received motors AND a 2016 CHASSIS weeks if not months ago... they more than likely wont be racing V2R with a Turbo car..guess we'll see...

I understand there are dealers that are giving test rides as of today...as for the rules in BITD, they would have to use a 2016 chassis to be legal in BITD.. they couldn't use a previous years chassis.. not saying guys like Burnett or Jagged etc didn't get a 2016 frame and or turbo motor early...

49 in the field... dont forget Unlimited Pro and Sportsman... the starting positions issue has been debated to death.. unlike the unlimited classes.. Most UTV teams cant take an extra day to do qualifying and dont have the resources to fix or re-prep from qualifying the car just before a race.

As a guy who use to do that military thing for a living.. I can tell you that special operations forces have been doing training and selection courses in major (and rural) cities for many many years...Jade Helm is just another excersize but just more publicized than maybe we have seen before...

Been doing BITD in UTV for past 5 years.. I think the MINT 400 and Sand Show are by far your best bets for exposure...

Yes...(BITD) can bring you a tire (not your support team)...spares...etc As far as tires go to...I think tire size should be open...if you want to run a 33" than do so.. your cv's, belts may suffer but the racers call. Why limit to 31-32's or 33's?

Somebody knows they did this to you... as Im sure they saw you roll in thier review. I hope they come forward..it looked pretty wide there too... if so, no reason to crowd you like they did. Sad they didnt stop to see if you were injured, on fire etc..
