The race will be a separate event from the SSSS, but various ticket options will be available for purchase for those wanting to attend both events.

There are very few racers that have a completely stock car, it may help gain entries if the classes were opened up to mods. The guys that race are most likely to enter, have the track experience and modified cars will are more likely finish or survive.

Ya letting the can am 1000 in but not the xp1000 doesn't seem fair. If they can keep the wheels from falling off or it bending a tie rod the Maverick its a sure win. Lol

Will the UTV race be on dirt or pavement? Second question: what type of arm restraints are you talking about?

The side x side track will be the same one the Stadium SUPER Trucks run on and it will be a combination of dirt, asphalt, sand, dirt jumps, and metal jumps.

SST officials have decided to split the side x side class into two separate divisions having a strictly stock class and a modified class allowing for aftermarket exhaust and clutch kits only.

SST is trying to keep this is simply as possible for this year with seven other divisions on the card for the weekend.

Thanks

Staggs...

It would be legal if it was the XP 800 or 900, removed the programmer and put on the stock shocks. The cage would fit under enhancing safety and the exhaust and clutch are the two performance modifications that will be allowed.

Thanks for the interest.

Well if you guys decide to change that and allow programmers then post it on here as we would like to race this event. Thank you

Can you answer the second part of my question please.

After speaking with Robby and a few other Side x Side guys we are going to allow for programmers to be run in the Modified class.

Thanks for your interest.

As far as arm restraints we would want to see something that attaches to your race suit, loops around your arm or attaches five point harness or safety belt. Safety Net is also recommend. We don't want arms flying outside of the vehicle at any time.

As mentioned above programmers will now be allowed in the modified class to accommodate the competitors that run with Lucas.

Can you answer the second part of my question please.
