Here's how to remove the steering wheel nut in your xp1000.

Grab a couple of non stretch limiting straps, wrap around your CageWRX cage and steering wheel. Orient them so it won't bend your wheel. Connect them with a strong bow shackle. Grab yourself a nice bar and it'll come right off.

The RZR where was the easiest wheel I've ever removed. And I've removed dozens. I even had to make a puller.

Here's the puller I made

I made it out of angle iron so it wouldn't bend. (I was expecting this to be a fight).

The little bolts are 5mmx50mm metric. The center bolt is 3/8".

The small bolt threads into the 2 small holes in the steering wheel. The center bolt presses up against the steering shaft. Thread the small bolts all the way in. Thread the nut on the 3/8" bolt up against the angle iron. Put the wrench on the nut, and a socket on the 3/8" bolt head. Turn the bolt head clockwise and after 1/2 turn the wheel will pop off. Barely even have to put any force on the ratchet.
